Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

The Cleaner Boy ("the game") is built to be simple and private. We do not ask for your name, email or any account, and we never sell your data. The only thing we collect is anonymous usage statistics, so we can see how the game is played and make it better. You can switch that off at any time.

What the game stores on your device

The game saves your settings (haptics, sound, music, graphics quality, theme, analytics choice) and your progress (which jobs you finished, how long they took, and which secrets you found) on your iPhone. This data is removed when you delete the app.

Anonymous usage analytics

We use PostHog (servers in the United States) to count how the game is used. The game sends events such as: the app was opened, a job was started or finished (and how many seconds it took), a secret was found, a share button was tapped, and which settings were changed. Each install gets a random anonymous ID that is not linked to your name, email, contacts, advertising ID or any account. PostHog may also use your IP address to work out an approximate location such as your country.

To opt out: open Settings (⚙️) in the game and turn off Share anonymous usage data. After that, nothing is sent.

What we do not do

Sharing features

When you tap SHARE, the game creates an image on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice and is governed by the app you pick (for example Messages, Instagram or WhatsApp). The "Share with a friend on WhatsApp" button simply opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message; we do not receive any information from it.

Children

The game does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It only sends the anonymous usage statistics described above, and that can be turned off in Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
